Our client, based in Northamptonshire are looking for an Environmental Protection Officer who can assist with the noise, domestic & commercial, smoke & odour, drainage, pest control and other statuary nuisance cases. The right person also has experience of responding to Planning (Development Control) Consultations in relation to noise impact, this is a key aspect, as that will be the bulk of the work. it would also be desirable if you are also able to help with noise nuisance complaints but this is not essential.

You will need to have experience working in a similar role for another Local Authority. They are happy to consider someone without with EHORB certificate of registration or equivalent relevant qualification.

This role is covering maternity leave so although it is initially for 3-6 months is could be extended to the end of January 2020 if all goes well with the initial contract. They are looking for someone 2-3 days per week and will pay £28-£34PH LTD depending on experience and qualifications mentioned.
