Gloucester City Council is an ambitious council with big ideas; an exciting and innovative team has been developed with a focus on Private Sector Housing. You will be working alongside colleagues with backgrounds across Housing and Environmental Health service areas.
Gloucester is a small, historic and vibrant city on the edge of the Cotswolds and conveniently located along the M5 with good transport links to the rest of the country. Our offices are in the City Centre where we are in a fabulous location in newly refurbished offices.
Things are happening here: - we are doubling our Private Sector Housing Team with an ambition of driving standards in local housing stock for the benefit of Gloucester and its residents. We offer a modern working environment with flexible and agile working conditions.

Ideally you will possess relevant skills and experience in dealing with housing enforcement; HMOs, DFG and Park Homes. You will possess strong communication, organisational and time management skills, and be able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
Following a corporate restructure Housing Services are excited about building an excellent Private Sector Housing team. This is an amazing chance for ambitious professionals who have a passion for housing and team work. You will have the opportunity to work alongside and gain experience in other Environmental Health Services. Please refer to job pack for more information.
