SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICER (DFG SPECIALIST)

Salary £32,029 to £35,934 per annum plus

Essential car allowance (up to £1239) and annual premia payment of £3,500

We are looking to recruit a Senior Environmental Health Officer with a passion for helping residents improve their daily lives. Your principal role will be to manage a small team of Technical Officers to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the disabled adaptations grant service.

This is a challenging and varied job, and an excellent opportunity to:

• Use expert knowledge and technical skills to manage a successful team delivering disabled adaptations.

• Use your own ideas and initiative to ensure delivery of a high quality service, ensuring continuous improvement.

• Take a lead role in projects and partnership working and gain valuable experience in managing a small team.

A degree in Environmental Health or equivalent is essential. Corporate membership of CIEH is desirable but not essential. The post comes with an essential car user allowance; flexible working hours; subsidised sports facilities and opportunities for further training.
