About Us

Your Role

This role will focus primarily on responding to planning and licensing consultations including a number of major events in the district, such as festivals at Knebworth Park and the investigation of nuisances.

You will be required to participate on the noise call-out rota which currently operates at the weekends during the months of April to September.

You must have a recognised qualification in Environmental Health and hold the EHRB Certificate of Registration or be committed to achieving the Certificate of Registration with six months of appointment. We particularly welcome applications from those who have relevant knowledge and experience, excellent communication skills and the enthusiasm for and commitment to making a difference in North Hertfordshire.

Salary Range:  £25,260 - £41,772 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
