Environmental Protection Officer

Buckingham Futures have an excellent opportunity on the South Coast for an Environmental Protection professional to start asap initially till March 2020.

The successful candidate will have minimum two years’ experience and knowledge of: contaminated land, air pollution, and related environmental protection issues such as Environmental Permitting Regulations and noise control; relevant legislation; practices/methodologies; experience in the use of monitoring equipment; providing consultee advice on planning applications. In addition, the role will involve providing expertise on statutory nuisance and general environmental health work, such as public health.

Applicants will be educated to a minimum of A Level standard/NVQ 3. A degree in a relevant subject is highly desirable, as is membership, or working towards membership, of a relevant professional body.
