Detail:   North Norfolk is an attractive rural District with beautiful coastline, fantastic landscapes and big skies within easy reach of the fine City of Norwich.

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for doing the right thing for communities and the environment. You will excel in this role if you have experience in a combination of food safety, licensing, health and safety and a talent for management.

Our Public Protection and Commercial team cover a wide range of disciplines including food safety, infectious disease, all licensing activities and health & safety, both corporately and externally. Putting the customer at the heart of every decision, you will look for ways we can continue to improve our services whilst making every pound count. You will develop the service plan that helps the Council meet its ambitious objectives, whilst growing and nurturing the team’s talents to promote best practice, and manage change.

You will use your excellent commercial acumen to build on our already innovative approaches and to identify further opportunities to generate income or deliver savings. As an assertive individual, with strong analytical and problem solving skills, you will have the ability to offer both technical and professional advice to internal and external stakeholders, through exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
