The Borough of Barrow-in-Furness is situated at the southern tip of Cumbria, on the northern shores of Morecambe Bay and set against the spectacular backdrop of the English Lake District Mountains. It is surrounded by beautiful beaches and is a bustling Victorian town with a proud industrial heritage and a long association with shipbuilding and maritime activities. The area is perfect for people wanting an active lifestyle with easy access to beaches and the Lake District. The housing is second to none and very reasonably priced. The town has plenty to keep you busy in your role from approved food businesses, hotels and restaurants, diverse housing, industrial estates and leisure-based activities. The role is also commutable from the M6 and the surrounding areas with one of the most scenic journeys in the Country.
