Environmental Health Team Leader (Commercial)

Up to £38,220 per annum + excellent benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for an existing Team Leader or an experienced senior officer looking to progress their career.

What we need:

You will hold a degree in Environmental Health or other relevant qualification plus the Higher Certificate in Food Control and be EHRB registered.  You must have a minimum of 5 years experience of food and health and safety enforcement and a broad range of experience and technical knowledge relevant to the areas of work.

What you will do:

You will lead a small team who carry out proactive interventions alongside investigating complaints at a variety of premises across a range of activities including food hygiene and health and safety enforcement, as well as dealing with private water supplies, accident investigations and infectious disease control.

Environmental Health Officer

Up to £33,987 per annum + excellent benefits

We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically competent qualified Environmental Health Officer who can demonstrate core skills in housing enforcement and environmental protection.

What we need:

You will hold a degree in Environmental Health and be EHRB registered. 

What you will do:

You will be part of a busy team that covers a range of environmental health functions including environmental protection, food safety and health & safety, and private sector housing.  The work is diverse and interesting and whilst you would predominately work within private sector housing you will be expected to work across the range of functions as required.

What you will bring to the job:

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional who can work both on their own, dealing with members of the public, but also part of a team, with good interpersonal and written communicative skills.
