Full time, 37 hours per week, £33,487 to £36,543 (including £609 local weighting) plus local government pension and free car-parking

In this new Senior Technical Officer role, you will be providing professional and technical advice to businesses and colleagues in areas associated with housing standards, HHSRS assessments, houses in multiple occupation, fire safety, housing grants, home energy efficiency, public health and EPA in relation to housing. This role will also involve developing policies and strategies.
You will be experienced within these Environmental Health areas of work and have a relevant degree in building construction (or equivalent). You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to give clear advice and support to colleagues and members of the public.
