Environmental Protection Officer

Our client in West Midlands is looking for an Environmental Protection Officer to join its team on an initial 9 - 12 month.

Main Purpose

- Specific experience in Air Quality Management and Contaminated Land

- Sufficient knowledge of the above to enable the officer to respond  to Planning development consultations

- Advantage if the officer had experience with the regulation Permitted installations (including A2installations) in addition to knowledge of  statutory nuisance and fly tipping investigations/enforcement activity.

Knowledge/Experience

1. Degree in a relevant subject Membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional body Educated to A Level standard/NVQ 3 in a relevant subject (or equivalent demonstrable experience) Experience using IDOX Uniform, GIS, and document management systems.
