Job Details
Our client, based off the coast of Scotland, are looking for an individual to carry out the full range of day to day functions and duties of an Environmental Health Officer in accordance with legislative requirements and the Council's policies and priorities as directed.
A proven record of relevant experience in food safety, health and safety at work, environmental protection, public health and other general duties relating to environmental health are all essential criteria for this position. Salary awarded (including market supplement) will be dependent on experience.
If you are interested in joining this council, they are looking to take on someone on a permanent or contract (6 month initial) basis and will offer a competitive rate or salary depending on what you are looking for.
You will be qualified to BSc (Hons) standard in Environmental Health or equivalent. A Diploma in Environmental Health of the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland or equivalent, and evidence of on-going Continual Professional Development in order to maintain membership of REHIS or CIEH are also essential.
