As an Asset Development Officer you will work to support the planning, management and development of high quality public realm assets, including parks, open spaces, river moorings, and associated facilities. You will act as the lead contact for the management of events and activities on parks and open space and you will be tasked with encouraging new business, issuing permissions and licences and checking conformation with licence terms and conditions.

The role would suit someone with an interest in project / programme management who has gained experience within a local authority, ideally with an enviro services setting. You will need an understanding of funding and ideally you will have been involved with events planning work in the past. You will need good admin skills and you will need to be very well organised and able to respond quickly and efficiently to service request.

This role is based with a local authority in Cambridge and will pay around £21-£25/hr. The initial contract will be 3-4 months but it is expected to extend.
