We are seeking to appoint an experienced Food Safety Compliance Manager to join ahs at the University of Bath. We're looking for someone with a wealth of food safety experience to join our team in this exciting new role.

As our Food Safety Compliance Manager, you will work to ensure that excellent food quality and safety standards are met across all of our Hospitality outlets across the University’s campus.

We pride ourselves on providing our students, staff, and guests with excellent quality food and produce all of our food in-house. Therefore, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of food safety is extremely important to us.

You will be responsible for devising and implementing a thorough and robust food safety auditing process in conjunction with our operational Hospitality management team, to ensure compliance and continuous development of our food safety procedures and practices.

You will work closely with our Hospitality management team to provide expert knowledge and guidance relating to the principles of food safety including food hygiene, equipment, and structure as part of the food safety auditing process. You will provide recommendations for improvement and ensure effective dissemination of information following audits.

Your focus will be to ensure that our customers have the best experience possible. You will have a demonstrable background in food safety and will be able to demonstrate experience in implementing the principles of HACCP

You will have excellent written communication skills as well as the ability to communicate with people at all levels in the organisation. Experience in report writing and delivering training and raising awareness would be useful, but not essential. Further details can be found in the job description.

This opportunity is available on a part-time (29 hours per week) fixed term basis of two years.
