Permanent

£26,999 to £35,934 per annum (Grade HI)

Pubic Protection Partnership is a shared environmental heath, licensing and trading standards service for Bracknell Forest, West Berkshire and Wokingham.  PPP was formed in January 2017 and delivers a high quality service to some 470,000 residents and over 10,000 businesses.

We are looking to recruit experienced Environmental Health Officers to work across a range of disciplines.  The roles would be suitable for generalist EHOs but in particular EHOs with specialisms in food hygiene, housing or environmental protection.

The work and structure of PPP is based on the National Intelligence Model and we operate under a number of multidisciplinary functional areas to achieve the approved priorities.  This means there are plenty of exciting opportunities to experience a wide range of cases and projects.  In addition there is the variety of work that comes with operating across 3 Boroughs

We offer a unique and dynamic working environment and you will benefit from a commitment to your professional and personal development, a generous leave entitlement, the opportunity to work flexibly.  In return we expect you to be have an eye for detail and be comfortable working under pressure, be organised, flexible and enthusiastic, with good communication skills and able to work on your own initiative.

You must hold the Diploma or BSc/MSc in Environmental Health and be registered as an EHO/P with the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB).

The post offers a free working environment across the PPP areas and will be based in Theale, West Berkshire (although we can offer some flexibility in this).

For an informal chat please contact Rosalynd Gater, Strategic Manager for Programme on 01635 519098.

To be considered for this post, an application form must be completed.
Applications received after the closing date cannot be considered.
