Salary and Hours: £35,933 - £39,970 per annum, 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Based at South Norfolk House, Long Stratton with travel to Broadland Council Offices, Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich

What you’ll be doing…

Responsibilities will include inspecting all types of food premises under the Code of Practice, whilst undertaking the day to day food safety, communicable disease control, health and safety, animal welfare, and environmental health licensing functions of the Council.

You must have…

The successful candidate will possess a relevant qualification in Environmental Health and certificate for registration with EHORB (or equivalent).  Excellent verbal and written skills are needed including negotiation and excellent communication skills to deal with a wide range of customers. A full driving licence is essential.
