Salary: £36,419 - £38,095 (plus £1,500 Market Addition) per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week (banking 30 minutes a week to be used towards the shutdown at Christmas and New Year)

We are looking for an innovative and experienced SEHO to join a team of highly motivated and competent officers. You will be actively encouraged to develop existing practices and take forward new ways of working and will be given opportunities to further your knowledge and experience.

We need a hardworking and committed SEHO to take up the challenges in our Team, undertaking a wide range of food hygiene/health & safety inspections and visits, Animal Welfare matters, infectious diseases investigations and responding to complaints, service requests and enquiries within target deadlines. It is essential that you have had recent experience in enforcing Food Safety Legislation including the Service of Formal Notices.

You will be expected to work as an effective team member in delivering value for money and delivering on-going performance improvement.

This post is being offered on a 2 year fixed term contract.
