Intelligence Officer - Housing
As an Intelligence Officer you will undertake a range of activity in connection with our client's Rogue Landlord initiative. Your work will focus on evidence gathering through research and information gathering. The role sits within an environmental health team that has a very pro-active approach to investigating and carrying out enforcement activity to tackle Rouge Landlords operating in the Borough.
As an Intelligence Officer you will play a key role in helping build cases that will lead to prosecution action. The ideal candidate for this role will have a working knowledge of housing legislation in relation to enforcement and prosecution of landlords.
The role would be well suited to those with previous enforcement experience and it may also suit those coming from a law enforcement background. It would also be well suited to an Environmental Health Technical Officer with experience within private sector housing. Good IT skills are essential as well as a keen eye for detail and an ability to compile detailed report documents.
The role is based with a local authority in South East London; contracts will initially be offered for 3-6 months but are likely to roll on for some time.The role will pay up to £22/hr (umbrella)
