Job Details
Our client, based in East Anglia is looking to appoint an experienced Contaminated Land Officer. They are looking for someone to assist in the formulation, development and implementation of a strategic approach to contaminated land in the District. The role will require you to undertake research and investigations including the inspection of sites/premises to determine the location of contaminated land within the District. You will also be expected to investigate complaints of statutory nuisance and to take action to prevent the nuisance from arising and/or recurring including the preparation of information for the service of statutory notices.
This role requires someone who has a minimum of two years working within this field. You must be literate in the use of Microsoft Office application software and able to present data sets in graphical and tabular formats.
Our client requires someone to start ASAP and the contract will be for an initial 4-5 months. There will be some office based work however there is flexibility with remote working options.
