This exciting opportunity to join Bristol City Council’s Public Protection Service, which comprises of; Food Safety, Health and Safety, Infectious Disease Control, Bristol Port Health Authority, Pollution Control and Pest Control Services.

You will be working primarily in the area of Food Safety, with opportunities to carry out some other areas of work within the Public Protection Team. It will require excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to deal with challenging issues.

You will also have a degree or diploma in Environmental Health, registration with the Environmental Health Registration Board; and experience of partnership working, of the area specified above.
