It’s an exciting time to be joining the Environmental Health Service at Arun District Council.  We have recently implemented a new browser-based software system to enable more effective mobile working and phase two will see the online portal go live, allowing customers to self-service to a greater extent.  

As the Environmental Health Team Manager you will lead and manage the delivery of a team of 8 multi-skilled Senior Environmental Health Officers and two Environmental Health Technical Officers.

You will work alongside the Licensing team and the Private Sector Housing team. Your team will deliver the Environmental Protection, Food Hygiene, and Health and Safety functions (including advising on the Council’s own arrangements).
