£25,801 - £35,934 per annum
plus Essential Car User Allowance
37 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior / Environmental Health Officer to work in the Environmental Health Team of the Leisure & Regulatory Services Group. This challenging and stimulating section deals with a variety of environmental health work including Food Safety, Health & Safety, Enviro-crime, Noise, Public Health and Housing matters.
With a BSc in Environmental Health or equivalent and an EHORB certificate of registration (or working towards) you will ideally also have at least 1 years experience of working in an environmental health role however applications from newly qualified officers will also be considered. A sound knowledge of current food hygiene legislation and supporting guidance is essential.
