Up to 2 years Temporary contract/Internal secondment

Full time – 37 hours per week

Up to £37,982 per annum

Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience

An opportunity to work in the AONB of the Weald of Sussex, for the shared environmental health service for Rother and Wealden, the main towns being Bexhill-on-Sea, Crowborough, Hailsham, Rye and Uckfield.   We wish to appoint a qualified Senior Environmental Health Officer (Food and Health and Safety). The work is mainly to carry out food hygiene inspections but expect all Officers to work across the full range of functions in environmental health and licensing.   We wish to appoint an enthusiastic person, committed to the protection of public health and safety and their own personal development. Occasional evening and weekend work is expected, as well as participation in the weekend emergency rota and summer noise patrol.
