Our client, based in Hertfordshire are looking for a Licensing Officer to lead in all licensing matters referred under the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005 and other licensing regimes. They need an experienced licensing enforcement officer to offer maternity cover 3 days a week (flexible about which three days but some out of hours work will be necessary).
To carry out the role it is absolutely essential you have a working knowledge of the legislation mentioned. You will need a good understanding of the role of a local authority in administering a licensing function and you will need to be confident when it comes to providing advice and dealing with third parties.
You will be offered an initial 3 month contract is fully expected to roll on for some time so this is a great opportunity to secure a well paid role.
