A fantastic opportunity has come up with one of Oyster’s biggest clients in the Northamptonshire area for an experienced Environmental Protection Officer for an initial 3 months. Joining an already busy team there will be plenty of work to take you through the summer and possibly beyond.
About the Role:
The role would see you play an integral role as a part of a busy team dealing with:
- Responding to service requests relating to complex nuisance investigations
- Commenting on planning and licensing applications
- Noise complaints
- Serving and enforcing notices
- An element of Land Contamination and Air Quality
The rates are open to negotiation depending on experience and is likely to be £28-£34 an hour Umbrella. The council are also open to considering flexible working arrangements (i.e. 3 days in the office and 2 from home) for the right candidate.
About You:
It is essential that you have an up to date knowledge of current legislation and ideally you will have at least a couple of experience within Environmental Protection. Experience of serving notices and preparing reports is beneficial. EHRB registration is preferable but not essential.
