Your New Organisation

This London based Local Authority covers a large geographical area and is home to a well-known University. The Team you will be joining is currently going through an exciting period of change and growth, led by an inspirational manager who is extremely passionate about Private Sector Housing and ensuring Housing Standards are kept to the upmost highest level across the Borough.

The current team is made up of a mix of experienced Environmental Health Officers and Technical Officers with a wealth of knowledge across the Sector. If you want to join a team of strong Officers that want to make a real difference, this is the team for you!

Your New Position

You will be paid a market leading rate of £40 per hour, working as an Officer within the Private Sector team, responsible for ensuring the Borough’s Landlords are complying with all relevant legislation.

Areas the team cover include:

• Complaints
• Housing Standards/ HHSRS
• Part 1 & Part 2
• Selective and Mandatory Licensing
• Single Dwellings & HMO’s
• Civil Penalties, Rent Repayment Orders & Prosecutions

This borough wants to be perceived as a no nonsense authority, and they are not afraid to Enforce when necessary!

This Authority welcomes applications from both EHRB Registered EHO’s and Technical Officers.
