Senior Environmental Health Officer – 12-month temporary contract

Grade/Salary: PO2-4, £36,486 - £44,373 p.a

Contract: Fixed Term - 1 year

Hours: Full Time - 35 hours per week

Location: 222 Upper Street, London Town, London

Islington is a lively and diverse inner London borough and our business sector, which reflects the diversity of our residential population, will provide you the opportunity to implement the full range of regulatory strategies to promote economic growth by securing and maintaining compliance.

You will have the opportunity to contribute fully to the team’s key commitments to local residents and businesses in relation to food safety, health and safety at work and public health complainants from commercial premises. Whilst your workload will be predominantly food safety you will be encouraged to act as the lead officer for various activities, primary authority partnerships and projects as well as contributing to our work on promoting healthy eating.

Due to the nature of the job we are only interviewing candidates who are qualified Environmental Health Officers.
