£32,029 to £33,799 (from 1 April 2019)

This role will suit an experienced Environmental Health Officer, with excellent communication skills, who is confident in dealing with the public, carrying out investigations and drafting reports. You will also be able to prioritise and organise your own workload and have good IT skills. The role involves carrying out inspections and investigations into nuisance, noise control, air quality, water pollution, drainage problems and private water supplies.
Candidates must have a Level 6 or higher qualification, be registered with the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, maintaining your CPD requirements. A Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent in Acoustics is also desirable
A relocation package of up to £5125 is available, as is an essential car user allowance.
