Trainee Environmental Health Practitioner
Starting salary between £17364 and £20532
Two Year Fixed Term Placement Contract
Based at Kings Court Council Offices, King’s Lynn
If you hold a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) accredited qualification in Environmental Health at a minimum level of 6, e.g. a BSc/MSc Degree, and seeking practical professional training this could be the post for you.
West Norfolk consists of urban, rural and coastal areas, together with a variety of local industry, including tourism. The area has a thriving shellfish industry and a busy river port. This enables us to provide you with the practical training in Environmental Health within all relevant sections of Environmental Health and Housing you need to achieve Chartered Status with the CIEH.
You will have good time management with the ability to organise and prioritise with a determination to succeed in both studies and work. You will work for the Council in order to gain practice experience with an enthusiasm to work in all Environmental Health and Housing areas.
