Environmental Health Officer/Food Safety Officer

Bromley in the South East of London is a lovely place to work. We have a good balance between the challenges of an inner London authority and a district council, with a mix of areas. We are London’s largest Borough and cover densely urban areas in the north through to green belt countryside in the south.

With over 2500 food businesses we are a small busy team. The Civic Centre is located in a pleasant park with the Glades shopping centre 5 mins walk away. Central London is less than 20 mins away by train and we have good access to the M25.  

We are looking for 1 permanent fully qualified EHO or Food Safety Officer to join our team. You will be EHORB Registered with a BSc degree in Environmental Health or the Higher Certificate in Food Control (or equivalent) and have experience of food safety enforcement gained while working within a Local Authority.
