Job Details
Our client, based in Yorkshire are looking for an environmental health officer or noise specialist, with significant experience of work on planning application consultations, with particular emphasis on assessing noise and amenity impact of proposed developments.
In order to be considered, candidates must have experience of assessing other environmental health impacts including air quality and contaminated land would be a distinct advantage. Applicants must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing consultation responses and reports and attending meetings with planners, applicants and noise consultants to provide objective advice on planning applications. You must be able to analyse and interpret acoustic reports, with and excellent understanding of appropriate noise technical standards and guidance and planning policies.
This contract is due to start towards the end of May and will run for an initial 3 months. Rates are negotiable.
