Planning Officer

My client, a local authority in North West London is looking to recruit a Planning Officer for their Development Management & Building Regulation Division.

This is an ongoing role paid on an hourly rate (excellent rate)

The role comprises of :

Ø  Processing of Planning applications

Ø  Provision of general planning advice

Ø  The process of planning appeals

Ø  Development of planning policy and associated documents

Ø  Continuing professional development in Town Planning

Ø  Mentoring/Guidance of junior staff members

This role operates within a team dealing either with planning policy, planning enforcement or development control.

Experience in planning policy, enforcement or development is essential for this role.
