ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION OFFICER

PAY BAND K / SCP 29-31

£32,029 -£33,799 per annum

Permanent / 36 Hours Per Week

The Environmental Health (Commercial) Team is responsible for the delivery of the Council’s Environmental Health regulatory functions in relation to businesses.

The post holder will carry out investigations, inspections and monitoring activities in relation to range of Environmental Protection topics including Air Quality, Noise Nuisance, Pollution Prevention and Control and Contaminated Land and will be required to provide specialist advice and take enforcement action where necessary.

You must hold a degree level qualification in Environmental Health, Environmental Science or equivalent, and have significant relevant work experience in a related field. The candidate will be able to show continuing professional development (CPD) and have a full Driving Licence and car available for work or equivalent mobility.
