Location: Crewe/Macclesfield (2 posts, Ref 235)

Grade 8, 37 hours / week, 52 weeks / year

Salary £26,999 to £31,371

This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, talented and ambitious people to work within our Commercial Services Team.

The Commercial Team is responsible for food safety, health & safety, private water supplies, and mobile homes legislation, and is based across two locations within the Borough; Crewe and Macclesfield.

We have two vacancies for qualified Environmental Health Officer's with a Certificate of Registration issued by the Environmental Health Registration Board, who can complement the ideas and direction of the Team and contribute to the Council's strategic objectives.

We are looking for two Environmental Health Officer's to join the team, working between the two offices to meet the needs of the service. A solid knowledge of food and safety legislation would be ideal; however, we will consider applications from those with alternative specialisms where these would complement the responsibilities of the team.

Working as part of a busy team you will need to have a flexible approach to service delivery to meet your personal objectives and the wider aims of the team. You will require excellent verbal and written communication skills, good time management and enjoy being part of a vibrant team.
