Job Details
Our client, based in North East London have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Environmental Health Officer to work with a dynamic, forward thinking Borough Council. The candidate will work within the Controlling Migration Fund, gathering and sharing intelligence with Immigration and Police to tackle non-compliant landlords and improve housing standards in the borough, as well as organising and leading weekly joint agency action days. Along with this work you will also be asked to enforce Housing standards, prosecutions and Civil penalties.
To be successful you will be a Private Sector Housing Officer with at least 3 years experience and the HHSRS certificate.
If successful you will be offered this varied and exciting contract paying £25-£35PH LTD depending on experience and qualifications (EHRB certificate desirable but not essential and will effect the rate). This is be for an initial 3 months and it is expected to be extended.
