Regulatory Services Officer Grade 8 – Food Safety and Health and Safety

We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with a can do attitude to carry out a range of Regulatory functions including, but not limited to, food safety and standards and health and safety.
You will be expected to carry out routine inspections, issue licences, undertake project work and provide assured advice as well as undertake enforcement work for the areas outlined above
You will be a natural problem solver with excellent communication skills, an attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellence and promoting business growth. You will have comprehensive knowledge of criminal and civil law and procedures. Previous experience as well as a qualification in food safety and health and safety is essential. A basic knowledge and understanding of food standards regulation is also desirable.

The contractual work location for this role is listed above however you may be required to work from a range of work locations or sites within the Borough and may also be required to work from home, depending on the needs of the service.
