Job Details

Our client is looking to put in place a 12 month contract to run from 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020. They have a programme of c340 premises to inspect with numbers between 70-90 per quarter. The project can easily be managed by one person as it doesn't required full time commitment but you must be available to inspect premises during the day as not all of the premises will be open for inspection outside of routine office hours.

Depending upon the premises type you will be required to complete an inspection/partial and complete a full report and establish the FHRS. Paperwork will be fairly minimal and you will not be required to carry out the data input as this will be handled internally. When carrying out inspections any identified imminent risks to public health is to be referred to the Lead Food Officer or other Senior EHO immediately and they will complete any subsequent inspection / closure action that may be required.

The work is based with a client in Cambridgeshire and is within easy reach of the East Midlands and East Anglia regions. To be considered you will need to be able to demonstrate compliance with the Food Law Code of Practice and we will required an up to date CV, evidence of your CPD record and qualifications and a completed Competency Assessment document.

We expect to pay £30-£40 per inspection depending upon the category. The work will be outside IR35.
