Licensing Officer
BR9 - BR13 £28,590 - £39,315 per annum
Bromley is London’s largest borough where recent development and investment has seen it prosper making it a place where people want to live and work and spend their leisure.
We have a vacancy in the Licensing Team for an experienced Licensing Officer. Working with our lead practitioner and dedicated support team you will be involved with the licensing of premises and people under a wide range of activities from alcohol, gambling special treatments and animal welfare. You will be expected to develop an expertise in specific areas of licensing and attend and present applications at licensing Subcommittee hearings.
You will be well organised and have a high level of professional ability in a wide range of areas. You need to be a good communicator with a flexible approach to work, demonstrate a clear understanding of relevant legislation and the ability to work under pressure as part of a team and on your own.
We can offer you the opportunity to develop your skills working in a small and busy team. We have locally determined pay and conditions and these posts are part of a career grade structure. Starting salary is dependent on experience but will be competitive.
