Job Details
Our client, based in South West London, are looking for an Environmental Health Team Leader (Food) to carry out the duties of the Council in relation to food control, health and safety, infection control and port health, supervising the Environmental Health Officers, Technicians and Assistants. You will be asked to plan and participate in the programme of inspections and visits to ensure the authority meets its statutory obligations for food safety and health and safety. Also you will be asked to take a lead role with the Border Inspection Post and imported food control
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience of managing dealing with front line services in Environmental Health as well as a robust knowledge of relevant legislation relating to Environmental Health matters and experience of implementing legislative changes. You must also be fully Food competent as you maybe required to inspect also.
If successful you will be offered a 12 month contract paying £300 LTD per day.
