Environmental Health Officer / Higher Certificate Technical Officer

Buckingham Futures have an exciting opportunity in Northampton for a well organised and diligent Environmental Health Officer / Higher Certificate Technical Officer to undertake approximately 50 -100 Food Hygiene Inspections (Category C, D and E)  by the end of March 2019.  This work is paid on a per inspection rate outside of IR35

The inspections must be undertaken by a suitably qualified Environmental Health officer or food safety officer with a minimum of 2 years, recent, experience in conducting food hygiene inspections and meet the competence requirements of the Food Hygiene (England) Code of Practice 2017. Documentation will be required to demonstrate this once appointed.

At all times inspections will be carried out in accordance with the Councils Food Inspection Procedures and relevant Food Law Code of Practice 2017.

To be considered you must hold a BSc/MSc in Environmental Health or a Higher Certificate in Food Control, have an EHORB Registration (or equivalent) and have up to date food safety competency.
