Environmental Health Officer / Higher Certificate Technical Officer

Buckingham Futures have an exciting opportunity in South Wales for a dynamic, well organised and diligent Environmental Health Officer / Higher Certificate Technical Officer to undertake both high and low risk Food Hygiene Inspections for a two month cover period.  This work will be paid on an hourly rate.

You will be expected to carry out proactive and reactive food hygiene and health and safety inspections; investigate complaints concerning the safety and fitness of food; follow up cases of infectious and food borne disease; and investigates accidents.

To be considered you must hold a BSc/MSc in Environmental Health or a Higher Certificate in Food Control, have an EHORB Registration (or equivalent) and have up to date food safety competency.  You must also have knowledge of the Welsh Food Rating Hygiene Scheme.
