Food, Health & Safety Officer

Salary: Grade 8, £26,968 - £32,360 per annum

Hours: Full time, 37 per week

Basis: Fixed term for 10 months

Location: Based at Dereham with travel outside the district

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, committed and forward thinking Food, Health & Safety Officer to join our Public Protection Team. You will be working on behalf of our joint venture with South Holland Council delivering food hygiene inspections for neighbouring authorities and other food and safety consultancy and training.

Previous experience in Food Safety enforcement is essential including the ability to inspect high risk and complex food processes. You should also be a registered trainer in an Environmental Health discipline. Experience in health and safety enforcement would be desirable. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check at the enhanced level.
