Our client is looking to set up a contract to run until the end of December 2021 whereby a register of qualified Housing Inspectors will be called upon as required to carry out HMO inspections. For the remainder of the 2018-19 financial year it is anticipated there will be around 150 inspections. Due to the ad hoc nature of this work, it will not be a routine arrangement with fixed working hours each week.
The basic specification of the project is set out below:
- Contact owner / manager of the property
- Arrange inspection appointment
- Carry out a full inspection
- Complete inspection report
You will not be involved with any enforcement or further licensing activity. You will be expected to meet with members of our client's team in order to review work progress but you will not be expected to be based at the client's office.
We require HHSRS qualified Housing Standards Officers with the flexibility to be able to deliver the work as and when required. We will need those who are comfortable managing their own workload and can show previous experience in a similar capacity.
Our client needs those with a strong technical knowledge and an excellent understanding of HMO licensing. You will need good report writing skills with the ability to make sure clear and accurate information is relayed back to the client.
The work is based in Hertfordshire and we expect to pay around £50 per inspection so it's well paid. It will be outside IR35. Contact us ASAP to register your interest.
