Public Protection Officer (x2)

Salary: £30,765-£33,136 per annum (Salary Grade PS1, point 34-37)

Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week

Location: Caernarfon and Dolgellau

An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, committed, forward looking professionals to join our Public Protection Service.

We are looking for two officers to undertake food safety and health and safety work.

Candidates should have a diploma, degree or master’s degree in Environmental Health.

Candidates should also be registered with the Environmental Health Officers Registration Board or working towards achieving registration.

Previous experience if food safety and health and safety enforcement is desirable. 

Good communication, literacy and IT skills are essential.

In keeping with the Authorities language policy, all employees must be able to converse, read and write in both Welsh and English to a level commensurate with the requirements of their role.
