In the 2 permanent positions you will be responsible for a busy and varied workload focussing on inspection programmes, responding to service requests, dealing with food poisoning investigations and sampling. There will be responsibilities and projects within health and safety regulation to ensure you retain or broaden your skills. You can also gain experience undertaking duties at a busy Border Inspection Post within Manchester Airport.

In the time limited position you will be tasked with developing the support and advice we can provide to business in order to help them grow. This involves working with partners such as the Business Growth Hub and the Greater Manchester Regulatory Centre of Excellence.

You will need to be highly motivated, focussed, flexible and committed to personal development including meeting the food competency framework. If you have the required skills and are an excellent communicator then we want to hear from you.
