Salary: up to £31,401 depending on experience
Permanent, full time 37 hours per week with flexible working hours

Gloucester is a small, historic and vibrant city on the edge of the Cotswolds and conveniently located along the M5 with good transport links to the rest of the country. Our offices are located in the historic dock area of the City and close to the City Centre.

Our 12 officers report to our Community Wellbeing Team Leaders and work generically to cover a wide range of traditional environmental health functions. This post will have a strong focus on food inspections of medium risk rated premises.

You must hold a BSc/MSc in Environmental Health or a Higher Certificate in Food Control, have an EHORB Registration and have up to date food safety competency. You will possess strong communication, organisational and time management skills, and be able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
