Health Protection Team

Environmental Health Officer (22.2 hours per week) – Salary (SCP 33 – 38) £29,909 - £34,106 + £2047 market supplement p.a. (pro rata)

Team Leader - Salary (SCP 39 – 41) £35,229 - £37,107 + £1895 market supplement p.a.

We are looking for a part time EHO and a Team Leader to help deliver and develop our Health Protection Service. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Health Protection Team delivers a customer focussed service addressing our statutory duties in food safety, health and safety and licensing as well as promoting initiatives to improve health and wellbeing.

The role will require partnership working with other agencies and authorities to deliver these services. You will also have the opportunity to work corporately within the organisation on relevant projects.   

You will have a track record of achievement in your field with a passion for providing customer focussed health protection services.  In addition you will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills. The Team Leader is also expected to effectively manage and motivate others.
