We are looking for an Environmental Health Technical Officer / Environmental Health Officer / Senior Environmental Health Officer who is committed to providing an excellent service and can make a positive and proactive contribution to our busy Public Protection Team. 

As an EH Technical Officer / EHO / SEHO you will be competent in all aspects of Environmental Health with specialist knowledge in Nuisance, Public Health and Anti-Social Behaviour. Service demands may require you to undertake commercial inspections and enforcement as the need arises.

You will be expected to take a lead role in undertaking investigations and regulatory interventions and to take prosecutions as necessary.

Ideally you will be educated to a degree level or equivalent with a professional qualification in Environmental Health, and be a voting Member of the CIEH and hold the EHORB qualification.  However applications are also welcome from both newly qualified Environmental Health Officers and from those who have yet to complete the ELP or gain EHRB registration.
