37 hours per week – permanent contract

Salary £37,306 - £40,057 p.a.

Kettering Borough Council currently has a vacant manager post in its Community Service Team.  Responsible for an established team of officers, the post holder will manage a range of services, including the team, to ensure that they deliver partnerships, community S106 matters, sports development, review and management of contracts, voluntary sector grants and SLAs, community centres and pavilions, health and wellbeing projects and take forward projects on community development.

The post holder will be expected to lead and deliver projects, as well as managing the team to do so.  They may also be involved in wider corporate work where appropriate. We are looking to employ an enthusiastic manager with current experience and knowledge and the ability to take a strategic lead driving forward performance and innovation.  The post holder will be a key player in the wider service unit management team and will contribute to the ongoing improvement and efficiency programme.
