The Lipscombe family have opened 40 multi-branded fish and chip takeaways and restaurants, serving over 4 million meals a year.

In 2021 "Joy Brands", a subsidiary of The Chesterford Group, was created after successfully winning the right to become a Pret a Manager Franchise launch partner. In 2022, Joy Brands purchased 4 Pret a Manager shops in the territories of Essex, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. We have exciting plans to open many more Pret shops, to provide endless opportunities for our teams to better their lives and the lives of their families. Joy brands isn’t just a name, joy is a feeling, it’s the feeling we want to spread in our Pret shops to every single customer and colleague that we come into contact with.
