Housing Regulation Officers X2

Salary: £33,804 - £38,775 per annum fully inclusive.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a progressive and dynamic team of housing professionals in Slough, where approximately 33% of properties are privately rented.

The Housing Regulation Team deals with all aspects of regulation in the private rented sector; including t inspections and assessments of privately rented  properties under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS), The team  is  also responsible for the enforcement of standards in HMO’s as well proactive programme for implementing the Council’s ambitious Property Licencing Schemes.

We are seeking an energetic, motivated individual with in-depth building construction and/or Environmental Health knowledge. We would like to hear from experienced or newly qualified EHOs, and Building Surveyors; as well as building trade’s professionals, who wish to develop their skills by combining their practical experience with the enforcement of regulations and code of practice for ensuring people live in safe homes.
